Once we checked out our apartment, we called a taxi and took the girls to Lone Pine Sanctuary. It was about a 20 minute drive from CBD. We promised the girls that the day we arrived that we would hug koalas and feed kangaroos....and that is exactly what we did. In addition, the girls petted a dingo, saw a tasmanian devil(yes, they do exist!), saw tons of lizards, birds and wombats. It was a great day!
